The works at Shoreham Health Centre included primary mechanical and electrical plant and distribution as follows:
- Boiler House Refurbishment
- Replacement heating circuit to reception and waiting areas
- Replacement switchgear and sub-mains
The boiler House refurbishment includes a three boiler cascade system which replaced 2 no. cast iron Robin Hood boilers. The pipework arrangement includes traditional headers with primary and secondary pumping arrangements plus plate heat exchanger serving 1 no. variable temperature circuit serving existing heat emitters and 1 no. constant temperature circuit serving new ceiling mounted fan convectors in the reception and waiting areas. It also includes new pressurisation arrangements and dosing pots.
The electrical services works incorporated the replacement and relocation of the existing water damaged age expired loose LV Switchgear with a new panel board located in the boiler house with new sub-mains distribution to replacement distribution boards and major load centres such as the BMS Control panel, lifts and packaged water booster set.
